Missing in action

Wow, it’s been quite some time. I was just waiting for the new blog in order for me to post all the new exciting things that I have to say for 2008. The new blog is now up and running. I like it a lot and I would hope you like it too. I’ll be launching a campaign this upcoming week, if all goes well by Friday it should be launched. This Is Why I’m Hot

There is so much going on that I’m excited to share, I really wanted to keep this until later down but excitement burning inside can’t wait any longer.

Very soon I’ll be switching over to my custom blog, I have a company working on something for me. It looks nice. I always knew that I wouldn’t stay with this generic layout and therefore I’m holding back on posting a lot of stuff until the new blog is fully functional. I’ll however tell you a little of the much that will be going on around the blogosphere. Below I’ve posted an image of the first draft of the layout. there are a few changes made but not much. I really like it but it’s just down to the fine tuning and make sure that the platform works fine and then I’ll switch over.

I’ll be celebrating my 5th year anniversary in business as well as married in 2008. I’m so excited with this milestone that next year 2008 will be the year filled with love. I will be showing some love and giving away some prizes worth quite a few thousand of dollars, so stay tuned.

Bryan Morris Photography TV will be launched. Right here on my blog for the beginning. I however have plans to expand it to something even bigger than the blog. I totally know that it can be pretty frustrating being so far away and still trying to set up a wedding in a strange country and with people you don’t even know. Through BMP TV I would if they permit me to introduce you all to the local wedding planners and the different locations on the island for weddings.

I’ll be launching the “This Is Why I’m Hot” campaign. Along with this I’ll be preparing a slideshow for the best of 2007 and I just might add, 2006 and 2005 if I can just find those files.

I’ll also be very active on the Aruba’s Main Site Forum, mainly the Weddings and Honeymoon section. I’ve purposed to do as was done unto me in 2007, by my mentors and give back to the community.

What is love?

I could remember many years ago, there was a song on love. I really can’t remember what song it was. What I can remember of the song though, was that the writer was trying to find out what is love. A local radio announcer had a competition one day with this song playing in the background trying to find out what is love and the one that got closest won a prize, whatever that was…I can’t really remember what the prize was right now but that’s not really important for the point I want to bring across.

After this competition on the radio, the thought always stuck to me. It secretly “bothered” me. What is love? What is love? Every so often it would go off in my head in this fashion. I guess that I was to go and search deep what love is.

Quite a few years later, it was either during my devotions or listening to a preacher I got an abrupt revelation of what love is. This was so crazy that it always stayed with me especially being convinced of the fact that many people still are on a quest for love and another group uses the word love so lightly. The answer to the million dollar question is right in the book. I want to believe that you would understand by now that I’m talking about the bible.

The answer lies in I Corinthians 13:4-8 TLB

1Co 13:4 Love is very patient and kind; never jealous or envious, never boastful or proud.1Co 13:5 Never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and touchy. It does not hold grudges and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. 1Co 13:6 it is never glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out.1Co 13:7 if you love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and always stand your ground in defending him.1Co 13:8 Love never fails…………….

The entire chapter discusses love but the scriptures, which accentuate love, are the above mentioned.

This is the faultless definition of love, if any of this is not functioning in your life for the people you say you love; it simply means that you don’t love them. Love can be confounded by so many emotions, it is farcical. Love is endless, regardless.

This thought is not meant to be derogatory in any way form or shape. This is the season that love is said to be spread most and in all reality it is but I just found it important to explain what love is. It’s centsless giving to the poor and your life is not lined up to the above mentioned scriptures.

This Christmas season let’s all examine our lives and see if we line up, if we don’t it’s a good thing as we still have chance the reposition our lives.

Reychelle Rose Zelica Challenger

….AKA Baby Zelica was born on June 23, 2007 to my wonderful friends, Curtis Challenger and Yline Kelly. It’s a total blessing to have them in my life. I’m so elated to see how Curtis has metamorphosed into a dad. The transition really makes me happy and proud. In this present day that the trend to just be a sperm donor, Curtis opted to be a father. As Baby Zeli, as he calls her was born, she took supreme precedence in his life. He never directly voiced this to me but I know that his major goal in life is to take care of his wife to be and daughter. It just makes me proud to know this as this I’ve pledged upon becoming a father also. I really want to make this infectious in the world as this seem not like the cool thing to do but in all honesty it is. You can’t imagine how it feels to be a great contributor to society raising world leaders. And by world leaders I don’t necessarily mean in the political arena, if they so choose to go that route, I’ll be supportive of their decision, however what I meant was you can change the world leading one person at a time to the right direction.

Curtis Keep up the good work, God has something great for you. Time is all it takes.

Now back to the baby, I seriously have to pinch her cheek anytime I see her. Baby got’s cheeks. These images here are of her at 6 weeks, I was on a quest for images to display on the blog and I found these that were not blogged yet.

Self Confidence

When I found this quote I wanted to learn a little of the originator of such great and true words, as according to me who must have been a well educated but above all well experienced individual. I’ve tried googling Samuel Johnson and I was not surprised learning that he’d accomplished so much.

His quote is so accurate, that I would like to expound a little on this quote.

Whatever task you’re about to approach. Be it bringing an end to the the war in the middle east or simply boiling an egg for breakfast. You must approach this task with confidence. You must confide in yourself. That is the only way that you would succeed in this life. Take a note, Samuel Johnson discovered this since the 18th century and still we tend to venture into various vocations, assignments and offices with little to no confidence in ourselves. I’m not implying once you delve in with self confidence that you are bound to succeed as there are many factors that concert to success, however if you advance into any task lacking the tenacity you are bound to fail.

Self confidence is the key into the door of success.

Dancing With The Stars

I was contemplating this weekend of topics I should publish this week on my blog and I’ve decided that I wanted my audience,brides to get to know me just a little bit more so I decided to confess….that…….

…………..I’m a Dancing With The Stars junkie.

This season had been the best season ever. Awesome dancers. The competition is so tight that I don’t even really have a favourite. I know who I don’t want to win, Marie Osmond of course but I believe that she has an enourmous support after fainting before the judges and then the death of her father and let’s not forget the ever visible promotion that she gets through her brother being on ET every evening.

The disagreeable thing is that the judges judge the dancing but the fans vote for the dancers they like. Technique is certainly not one of the factors considered during the fan votes. I was totally surprised a couple of weeks ago when Sabrina Bryan was eliminated for the lack of fan support.

I always loved dancing and since the beginning of this show, Dancing With The Stars on ABC Network, I promised myself that I would really get myself involved in dancing. The reason, I haven’t started dancing yet is because I have to first get all my ducks in a row, but dancing shall we.

I’m really expecting a great show tonight, the grand finale of Dancing With The Stars and I really hope that either Helio Castroneves and Julianne Hough or Melanie, Mel B aka Scary Spice and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy would take home the trophy of this season’s Dancing With The Stars.

Enjoy the show to might and may the best one win, but really the best one not the people’s choice. In cases like this the people’s choice is not always the best one technically.

La Familia Part III

This is the final set from the three part series La Familia. This is Ishaq. This was actually the first one (child) that I shot with Shaydee being the girl last. As you know the girls need to spend way more time getting ready. I however decided to display them in the order they came.

Happy Thanksgiving

This is not such a big celebration here on the island of Aruba. Tourism is by far the biggest industry here on Aruba and the Americans (Thank You!) make up the largest percentage of tourists visiting Aruba, so thanksgiving is however still celebrated on Aruba to some extent.

I would personally like to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving.

I know that Thanksgiving is all about celebration with your family and eating a hearty portion of food. Today as you celebrate Thanksgiving with your loved ones, don’t forget to whisper a prayer giving God thanks for everything in your life.

“In every thing give thanks for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”1Th 5:18

The part I want to really stress on from this scripture is the first part, “In every thing give thanks…..” In the good, give thanks, in the bad, give thanks.
